It is always important to have a well-built chest, it not only gives a great posture and attractive feel, it also makes one stronger. The chest has two major muscles, the pectoralis minor and the pectoralis major, also referred to as pecs. There are tons of exercises that aim at working these groups of muscles and although not all of them may be recommended, most are very beneficial in developing the chest. If you are looking for a way on how to build chest muscles fast, there are several ways you can achieve this but it will take intensive exercising to see the results. Remember that when building the chest muscles, the muscle mass is just as important as the actual pump and not all exercises aim at increasing the muscle mass.
The bench presses are some of the most common and beneficial exercises in chest building. This form of exercise will work on the pecs, triceps, anterior deltoids and serratus anterior at a go. To do bench presses, you will need to lie on your back with a barbell weight according to your capacity. Place your legs on the floor at the end of the bench with the spine parallel to the horizontal plane and straight. Maintain straight elbows while lifting the barbells and lower them to your chest to make a complete lift. Increase the weight and the sets you do in a session with time as your muscles become stronger with time.
There are tons of exercises that are suitable for a skinny guy build muscle, the common being light weight chest fly, pec-dec that is done on a pec-dec machine, pull-ups and push-ups. At the start, all exercises that a person who is new to muscles development will do will focus on increasing muscles strength rather than the aesthetic value of it.
