Questions While Training

I have been working out in gyms for around 20 years now and without blowing my own trumpet I do know a hell of a lot about weight training and bodybuilding and as such people seek me out and ask all sorts of questions, some informative and some downright stupid but I do aim to answer them all as honestly as I can as I didn’t have someone to lean on and ask questions of when I was training. I think probably the question I have been asked the most is what is the best protein powder to take and my simple answer to that was the most expensive one you can afford to get your hands on as the more expensive ones always have more effective ingredients such as creatine and caffeine. Also it without a doubt needs to be a whey protein as this gets absorbed into the body up to ten times quicker than a normal protein powder therefore making it ideal for an after training shake to get the protein to your muscles as quickly as possible. So that’s the best protein powder question answered. Among some of the other questions I get asked are what are Nitric Oxide supplements, These are relatively new and add more of what your body already has produced and simply opens and relaxes your blood vessels which lets more oxygenated blood flow therefore giving your muscles loads of blood to help them lift more weight and also to heal quicker which in turn means you can get back to training much quicker than before which is imperative if you want to get big quickly, It also gives water content to your muscles so if your a skinny guy like I was then it can add up to 8 pounds within a week or so which makes you look much much bigger.
